A Sunny weekend

Today was a strange day, a beautify sunny day, reaching a high of 19c. That is higher than most summer days. We had to go out, especially as the electric would be off all day. In a all electric house, staying at home would of proved tricky. No complaints, the Kyle of Tongue was beyond words, sun on the Rabbit Isles, seals on the sand banks in the Kyle & red deer on Ben Loyal & around Kinbrace. All rounded off by a huge portion of a haddock supper & a can of Red Kola whilst looking over Helmsdale harbour. What a way to start the weekend,  here's hoping that the glorious weekend will continue tomorrow.

QPR, used to be a lovely team to go and watch in the days of Rodney Marsh, Stan Bowles etc. They had characters, they still have in Barton but not a nice character and one I hope will be boo'ed off again by his own fans. Will be nice to see Cisse back, just hope he has one of his many off days. Then there is Anton, a player I am not sure we should of sold and I am sure he did not want to leave. Lets give him a real big welcome back, he deserves it.

As for us well lets hope that MON has been able to get the Everton game out of their heads. We were dreadful on Tuesday, too much dreaming of Wembley. There is still a lot of work to be done before we reach N London. For one, a game against a team on a high after a win against Liverpool. They will be on a high as they came back from being 2 goals down. We will be coming from a game were very few of our players can feel proud of. One problem is we don't currently have a large squad apart from midfield. Richardson, Brown, O'Shea injured leaves defence a little bare. Without Sess in midfield we are short of creative flair. Up front we don't as yet have a mature natural scorer. Campbell is still coming back from his injury and is far from a finished product. The same for Whickham, still has to mature a lot. I am not complaining, I did not want any hurried buys in January. We want quality buys in the summer and being in 9th place we have are not in danger of a relegation fight. Therefore lets get as high in the league as possible. We are having a great cup run, a win on Tuesday and Wembley here we come. Not the season we were expecting by the end of September.

It seems as if O'Shea is most likely fit again but I think he will be on the bench. A big plus is Sess will be back and so our attack will be more be creative. I can't see the back line changing. I think the midfield needs  more bite in it and so Colback for Gardner or Vaughan. Gardner lately shows lots of huff & puff but not too much result. Currently Vaughan seems to be more effective but it is close. Up front has to be a start of Sess & Bendtner.  Therefore Mignolet, Bardsley, Kyrgiakos, Turner, Bridge, Larrson, Vaughan Colback, McClean, Sess, Bendtner.

If we turn up and I think we will, then I can see it being 3-0 with a nearly full house. We have to pray that we get no injuries as Everton on Tuesday will be a hard game. Fingers crossed, shout loud and

Ha'waaaaaaayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy
